I’m a West Coast native, having grown up in southern Washington and spent much of my life in Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii. My parents were raised on the island of Molokai, Hawaii, where values of integrity, community, and responsibility to others are deeply rooted. Coming from a blended family, I understand firsthand the importance of support, collaboration, and the many influences that shape us. These experiences, combined with exposure to diverse cultures and mentors throughout my life, have instilled in me a strong sense of gratitude, respect, and commitment to serving others with integrity.

My career began with a focus on tax. After earning my Master of Law in Taxation from the University of Washington, I joined Deloitte Tax in Seattle. There, I had the opportunity to work with some of the largest companies in the world and benefited from exceptional training and resources.

While I valued that experience, I knew I wanted to practice law in a way that allowed for closer relationships with clients. I transitioned to private practice and went on to work with two of the Pacific Northwest’s largest and most respected law firms, where I focused on estate planning and supported the business tax groups. Estate planning quickly became the ideal practice area for me—it combines my passion for helping families and individuals with my background in tax and complex transactions.

Today, I feel fortunate to practice in a field I truly love. Estate planning gives me the chance to walk alongside people through different seasons of their lives—helping them make thoughtful decisions for themselves and their families. I enjoy learning about the unique dynamics of each family, how clients have built their wealth, and the legacies they hope to leave behind. To me, these stories reveal what people value most, and it’s a privilege to be trusted with protecting and carrying those values forward.

When I’m not working, I love being outdoors—whether it’s backpacking, hiking, or spending time on the water. I believe that challenging my body is just as important as challenging my mind, and I embrace that through healthy competition. From races and triathlons to playing soccer, I enjoy opportunities that push me to grow—especially when they involve being part of a team working toward a common goal.
