Jon Stamm
ATTORNEY & CO-FOUNDER
I began my legal career at a premiere litigation boutique in Miami, where I was expected to hit the ground sprinting on a wide variety of high-stakes matters of national and international reach. I eventually relocated to Oregon, while obtaining licensure in Colorado along the way. I spent the next eight years honing my skills as a trial attorney at one of the oldest and most respected law firms in the Pacific Northwest.
Having practiced in such diverse environments, I have befriended and been exposed to many different attorneys and, with that, many different styles of lawyering. My own style is simple: genuine care. I am your advocate and your teacher. I listen. I remember. I believe that my intellect and my courtroom presence are gifts, and that I owe a duty not only to my clients, but to the public at large, to uphold the integrity of the legal system.
As a litigator, I have built a career on precision, judgment, and results. I am proud to serve my private and institutional clients as a fierce advocate and trusted advisor during what may be the most difficult periods one will ever face. I have worked on both sides of the “v,”’ with a long history of success in high-stakes litigation across the United States. I have guided a diverse clientele, from private individuals to Fortune 500 companies, through complex legal challenges in both state and federal courts, as well as in arbitration.
As an estate planner, I channel my extensive litigation experience into a uniquely strategic practice. Having seen firsthand how documents and plans either succeed or fail under intense legal scrutiny, I bring foresight to the drafting process that most estate planners may miss. This perspective allows me to construct exceptionally resilient and conflict-avoidant estate plans, designed to protect my clients' assets and legacies from future disputes. At Visoria Stamm, Lauren and I are dedicated to this proactive approach. We believe that true peace of mind comes from combining legal excellence with genuine compassion. We strive to understand each client's unique story to build a legacy that lasts.
Throughout most of the year, I reside in Oregon, along with my loving partner, Stasha. I also spend significant time in Florida, Michigan, and Colorado, connecting with family and serving our clients located outside of the Pacific Northwest. When I’m not working, I’m usually out in nature, traveling the world, writing comedy, or attempting to play golf (despite being 6’7”).
